Poor garden wonderful location
Really dog friendly. Clean could do with proper non sick pans. Otherwise a wonderful memorable stay. Thanx
Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback, Joann. We have not been made aware of any issues with the garden, however we are sorry if this had let us down. The kitchen is well appointed, but we always take onboard our guests comments and suggestions. Overall, we’re pleased to hear that you had a memorable stay and we hope that you will be back to visit again one day!
Perfect and peaceful
The cottage was everything you think of when you think of an Cotswold cottage. It is well appointed and decorated beautifully. I wish I had such a beautiful kitchen in my own home. Because there are no cars that drive by, you can sleep with the windows wide open with no sounds but nature and the babbling brook.
Thank you for your wonderful review, Nancee. We're pleased to hear that you had a lovely stay at Brook Cottage. We hope that you visit again soon!
Perfectly decorated and well equipped cottage in quiet village
We had a wonderful stay here and enjoyed every moment. The cottage is so well equipped, every piece of furniture, every hook or extra shelf seemed to be placed with intent. Beautiful decorations coupled with a babbling brook and bleeting sheep. Could not ask for a better stay in the Cotswolds. Many Thanks!
Wow, thank you for your wonderful review, Elisa. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Brook Cottage and we hope that you visit again soon!
Quintessential Cotswolds Cottage
We recently stayed at Brook Cottage and had a great time in the Cotswolds. It's a charming cottage with a marvelous, updated kitchen that opens to a patio where we had breakfast and evening cocktails. It was so nice to open the windows and fall asleep to the sounds of the babbling brook outside our cottage, and the sounds of the birds in the morning. Parking is plentiful, the wifi is fast (though little cell phone service in the village itself), and it's a short walk to the village shop and pubs. We definitely recommend this place, and it helps that it's dog-friendly too!
Wow, thank you for your wonderful review of Brook Cottage, Bernard. We're pleased to hear that you had a delightful stay and we hope that you visit again soon!
Brook Cottage is a beautiful, charming cottage in a peaceful setting.
Brook Cottage was a dream come true for us. As a lifelong lover of British fiction, I had long wished to stay in a quintessential, English cottage and Brook Cottage fulfilled that dream. Brook Cottage was even more lovely in person. It was extremely clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. The owner had thoughtfully provided us with a few essentials including milk and a scrummy red velvet cake. The beds were divinely comfortable. The village was lovely and the people very welcoming. We attended Sunday morning service at the local church and we were warmly welcomed. This was the last place we stayed on a 19 day tour of England and it was absolutely perfect! We were so relaxed and happy by the day of departure and we were reluctant to leave. The Blockley Cafe serves delicious food and had great service. I can’t say enough good things about Brook Cottage. The home and garden are beautiful. Thank you to the owners for being so kind and for providing us with such a lovely place to stay!
Cosy and adequately equipped cottage
A step back in time visiting Blockley and Bibury. First visit to Cotswolds and a must for all. Enjoyed open fire and more than adequate cottage for us 2 and our dogs. Tea and cake on arrival much appreciated, thank you.
