An excellent villa in a beautiful quiet location with mountain and sea views.

The villa is set within a small complex of similar designed properties but Is the pick of the bunch due to its elevated position and size with beautiful big pool. It is located in a quiet coastal neighbourhood and is ideally situated to explore the north east of Cyprus. The nearest big town Kyrenia is a short drive to the west if you like big casinos, hotels , harbour front restaurants and shopping.. The old castle and shipwreck museum there is also worthy of a visit. Indeed there are quite a few historical sites to visit within a short driving range of the villa. The mountain castles, Bellapais monastery and Roman ruins of Salamis are a must. Hiring a car is essential (there is a garage to keep it cool in the summer sun) and with the Turkish lira being favourable with the pound everything is cheaper here too! Swimming and snorkelling in the sea was sublime in the bath water temperatures but beware the sand is very hot in summer. A lot of the coves and bays are also stony so you may want to bring shoes to swim in too. North Cyprus is not as developed as the south of the island but this has its advantages and disadvantages. There are quite a view little restaurants in the immediate area of Esentepi and a very handy supermarket nearby (Tempo) which also does hot food takeaway. If you want a water park then use the Acapulco hotel facilities (for a small fee) which is just outside Kyrenia. Also worthy of mention are the villa owners, who were quick and effective in resolving any slight issues we had and also provided a nice welcome pack on arrival. Overall we were looked after very well and loved the villa and it’s pool - the best we have stayed at. We have no hesitation in recommending this villa and would happily return for another holiday here. The Rees family :)

Fantastic holiday

We really enjoyed our stay in North Cyprus. The people are friendly and the weather hot. Most people spoke English which was a bonus although I had google translate at the ready. As for the villa, it was everything we expected based on the reviews and more. We’v Stayed at a few and this was by far the best yet. Clean, welcoming and comfortable, it really felt like home after the first night. All amenities were working and the pool is on another level. It actually felt like getting into a warm bath in the late afternoon. The children loved it, especially my 6 year old. Janice was always on hand to answer any questions as was Bob across the road. Our welcome pack was much appreciated as well as our flights were delayed meaning we didn’t get to the villa till three in the morning. I highly recommend this property and host. I myself plan to go back to North Cyprus to finish what we started and plan to stay in this very villa. Do yourself a favour and book with Janice as you will definitely not regret it.

Fantastic

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Herbsturlaub in dieser tollen Villa, in der es an nichts fehlt. Janice stand uns bereits im Vorfeld mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, kümmerte sich um Taxi-Abholung und dann ein bereit stehendes Mietauto mit Babysitz und war jederzeit für Fragen erreichbar. Wir kamen nachts an, daher war die Schönheit der Umgebung noch gar nicht gleich ersichtlich, wohl aber der gepflegte Zustand der Villa mit drei Schlafzimmern, 2 Bädern und einem riesigen Wohn-Essbereich. Der Kühlschrank war liebevoll mit dem nötigsten gefüllt und so stand entspannter Erholung nichts im Wege. Die Zwerge liebten den Pool, als sich für unsere Jüngste das normale Bett als noch zu gross erwies, besorgte Janice von England aus noch rasch ein Babybett über den Hausmeisterdienst -grossartiger Service. Danke! Die Villa steht in einer Ansiedlung gleicher Häuser mit Blick aufs Meer, eine sehr ruhige Nachbarschaft und zwei Restaurants sind in Spaziergeh-Reichweite (15 oder 45 min) Insbesondere The Coconut (karibische Küche) ist sehr zu empfehlen, allerdings muss man dort dringend tel. reservieren. Und der näher liegende Spice Garden läßt für Fans indischer aber auch britischer Küche keine Wünsche offen. Wenn man von der Villa 20 min ostwärts am Steilküsten-Strand lang wandert, entdeckt man eine kleine feine Badebucht, wo wir immer ganz allein baden konnten, die Kinder liebten den Sand und das flache warme Wasser. Für den leider angeschwemmten Plastikmüll hier und da kann keiner was. Ansonsten lassen sich mit dem Auto hervorragend Touren unternehmen, Girne=Kyrenia ist ca 40 Auto min weg, in dieser Richtung findet man auch zahlreiche Supermärkte, ATM oder Obstläden am Wegesrand - die Selbstversorgung ist kein Problem. Nikosia ist neben Girne natürlich ein Muss für einen Tagesausflug, aber man kann tatsächlich auch auf schönen Spaziergängen in der Umgebung des Morlais-Villenkomplexes die raue, felsige, einsame aber wunderschöne Natur geniessen. Direkt am Pool gibt es in der Villa einen Aussengrill, den wir allerdings nicht benutzt haben, und Badespielzeug wie Luftmatratzen o.ä. ist auch reichlich vorhanden. Ein 5 Sterne Urlaub, Danke an Janice und Robert für die immer problemfreie und hilfreiche Kommunikation. Gern mal wieder!

Ideally located with all the facilities needed for our stay

We stayed for 2 weeks in September 2018 and really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the villa and its location. The pool was cool and provided an ideal respite from the beautiful Cyprus sunshine. There were 3 bedrooms but as there was only 2 of us just made use of main one upstairs. We both enjoy walking so every morning we walked along the Old Road by the sea-bliss! The garage was also a welcome addition to keep the hire car cool when not in use.Wi fi access easy to access. Kitchen well equipped. The lounge was welcoming but we tended to eat and relax outside in the evening as it was cooler than indoors-though there is excellent air conditioning throughout the villa.

Beautiful Villa , Gorgeous pool, amazing holiday

On arrival we were greeted with a beautiful, clean villa, many thanks for the welcome pack as we arrived quite late on a Sunday. Such a peaceful area with beautiful views. Inside the villa it is very large with a huge balcony leading off the main bedroom. Everything you could want in the kitchen and more!!!! If you want a really relaxing holiday, this is the place to come to. The pool was amazing and we were sitting out next to it from six in the morning watching the sun rise until the sun went down in the evening. It was like getting into a bath where the sun had warmed it up, much nicer than any other pool i have been in. There are a host of pool toys and even a pump to inflate them with. There are some really nice restaurants nearby and a small supermarket. For all those people who love rest and relaxation this is the villa for you. Janice and Robert were so kind and helpful and thanks also to Ceren who met us on the first morning and was helpful throughout our stay with information on the local area and whatever we required. Ice cream man comes round twice a day and stops right outside the villa which is brilliant for the kids,. I would thoroughly recommend this villa we had such a fantastic holiday. Thank you so much
