House was dirty
When we arrived, the house had dog poop in the living room, the upstairs tub was dirty, there were clothes on the towel rack and other uncleaned areas. We were not certain the house had been cleaned so we had to wash all of the linens and towels. I reached out to the owner and it took her several hours to respond and she was rude. Even though we paid the cleaning fee, apparently she cleaned herself and had a puppy that left the poop. Her response was "my bad." The tub she said had not been used in years and that's why it was not cleaned??? Animals got into the trash in the garage. The neighbor called to tell her it was a mess and spilling over into his yard. She never reached out to us to address the issue but did send someone to clean it up. We were told this by the neighbor.
She also did not provide the amenity cards as promised. We paid our rental in full but she would not release the cards until we paid an additional fee not related to the cards. Apparently Fripp had increased some type of fee and she wanted to pass that along to us. We tried to contact her several times and she did not call us back until we called the main office. We finally got the cards on the third day of our stay after paying the additional fee.
I contacted VRBO to complain about the issues we had and they took the information but never followed up with me at all. I tried calling to follow up and they said they were still trying to contact the owner. Not a surprise.
