Incredible
This was our second time staying in the Nicoya Peninsula and it was just about perfect. Good location for accessing Nosara and Samara, both of which we enjoyed and offered more than the Montezuma area. More incredible beaches within a 30 minute drive than you would ever need. The house itself is a destination, the pictures don't even do it justice.
As others have said, you need to be prepared to deal with bugs/heat, which may not be for everyone. The bugs were completely fine in my opinion. The only downside to the house is the heat/sun. When there is no wind, it is very hot on the property, and it is next to impossible to sleep past sunrise due to sun coming in with inadequate curtains. But to say it was worth it would be a total understatement. You just need to go in the pool or head to the ocean, no big deal.
Many mention the road leading to the property. Yes, the road is different from what you may be used to in your home country but it is not even worth mentioning as it's a non-issue, provided you have a 4x4 which I believe is needed for this region in general. I don't understand why people have made a point to mention it.
We loved it here and plan to come back. Absolutely magical with many animal sightings.
