Apartamento nuevo (4 pers) en pleno centro de Jerez. A un paso de todo, con garaje, aire y calefacción centralizada y silenciosa. Muy equipado, decorado con gusto, ahora con Internet. El apartamento es nuevo, consta de un dormitorio de matrimonio,un dormitorio con 2 camas, cocina, baño completo y un amplio salón. La cocina está equipada para cocinar de verdad y las habitaciones están decoradas y amuebladas para que se sientan como en casa, con cómodos sofás y amplios armarios empotrados. Los suelos son de tarima y las ventanas son de Climalit. El precio incluye productos básicos de cocina y de limpieza. Jerez es una ciudad acogedora con una variada oferta turística, y la costa está a tan sólo 15 minutos. La propietaria vive cerca.

Situated in the south- west of Spain, between Seville and Cadiz, Jerez is the place for you if you want to experience the real Spain without sacrificing the convenience of modern life. If you are tired of the English pubs of the Costa del Sol but don’t fancy languishing in a draughty farmhouse on a mountain- top , try Jerez.

Jerez is a medium – sized city, which retains its essentially Spanish character . First of all, of course, it’s the home of sherry, and a visit to at least one of the local bodegas (wineries) is a must. Visits always end in a tasting session, possibly accompanied by a tapa. Jerez is also famous for its horses, so equestrian enthusiasts can visit the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art to see the famous dancing horses, or the prestigious stud, Hierro del Bocado, to see a very different, much more spontaneous show with mares and their foals running free .

The city’s third claim to fame is flamenco: Jerez has numerous shows which delight enthusiasts.

VISITS: As well as the equestrian centres and the wineries and the wineries mentioned above, you can visit the Cathedral and the many beautiful churches in the town centre , the Alcazar (Moorish castle) with its gardens and the Camara Obscura , various museums, a very prestigious zoo- and , of course , the shops!


Jerez has excellent communications by road , train and bus . El Puerto de Santa María , 15 minutes away , has long golden beaches ;Cádiz(20mins) is the oldest city in the Western world, and Seville, famous for its beauty ,is only an hour away .It is also easy to drive into the mountains to yisit the white towns such as Arcos de la Frontera or Grazalema


Flamenco Festival (in spring) – consisting of a series of concerts and dance shows in the splendid Villamarta Theatre and other smaller venues, as well as dancing classes imparted by recognised flamenco artists. Jerez is considered to be the birthplace of flamenco.


A week of spectacular religious processions when images of the Virgin and Christ are carried round the city for hours, accompanied by marching bands or in sepulchral silence. Also plenty of eating and drinking. Comfortable shoes are a must. Spanish families wear their best clothes on the Thursday and Friday.


This takes place in spring and Jerez is invaded by bikers for three days. For bike-lovers only!

HORSE FAIR (Feria del Caballo)

An orgy of eating, drinking, singing, and dancing which takes place in May. Go during the day to see the horses and carriages and the women in their beautiful flamenco dresses or fest your eyes on the millions (yes, really) of coloured lights which illuminate the fair all night. But pace yourself – it’s easy to go into the fair but very difficult to leave!


This is an agglomeration of different events – exhibitions, a mediaeval market, flamenco in the squares, a tapas competion ..

Elegí esta propiedad por su posición en pleno centro y porque dispone de un garaje subterráneo. Además, viví en este barrio antes de casarme y me casé en la iglesia que está al lado. Finalmente. está cerca de mi casa actual.

Qué hace a esta propiedad diferente: apartamento

La ventaja más grande es la situación, tan céntrica y al mismo tiempo en una calle muy tranquila. Se trata de un edificio pequeño, con pocos vecinos. El apartamento es cómodo, preparado y equipado para que los huéspedes se sientan como en casa.

Lovely flat right in the centre of Jerez

This is a lovely flat right in the centre of Jerez.The lounge /dining area and bedrooms are very comfortable,the kitchen well equipped and Mary provides a good range number of basic store cupboard items to make you feel welcome right from the start of your stay,as well as information about what to do in the area.Mary provided excellent directions both in and out of the city and was there to welcome us on arrival.Everything was spotlessly clean and instructions provided for all the electrical gadgets.Being able to use the internet was also very useful.The whole flat is very tastefully decorated.

This was the first time I had visited Jerez for over 30 years and although the city has grown it retains its traditional charm with the cathedral,alcazar and old quarter as well as one of the main bodegas within a few minutes' walk.There are many bars and restaurants again within minutes on foot.

Parking is in a secure garage with direct access via lift to the flat-though might be a little 'tight' for a large car.Once parked you do not need a car in central Jerez as everything is so close and there are good public transport links by bus and train to Seville,Cadiz and a number of other places.

I would highly recommend this property for couples or a family with older children

A home from home in Jerez

We stayed in this apartment for a month in January-February 2011. We wanted to get away from the English winter, but go somewhere that was not a holiday resort and where we could see a little of the "real life" of the area. Jerez de la Frontera was exactly the right location for us - plenty to see and do in the town and surrounding area, but not full of tourist shops at tourist prices.

The apartment is in the old part of the town, less than 5 minutes from the main square, so it is possible to walk to most of the attractions. The underground car park would be tight for a large car, but Mary, the owner, had given us plenty of warning about this. We were glad of the car to be able to drive out to golf and places like Ronda and the Grazalema, but were able to get the train to Sevilla and Cadiz.

The flat is well equipped and comfortable for a stay of this length, with plenty of seating and a good kitchen, and Mary was very quick to make sure we had everything we needed. The internet connection was a particular boon.

Mary was also very helpful in letting us know about any special events happening in the town, which we would otherwise have missed.

All in all, we had a marvellous stay in a very comfortable flat and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Estuvimos alojados un fin de semana de septiembre.

El apartamento es ideal para 4 personas. Zona muy tranquila y a un paso de restaurantes, bares de copas y monumentos.

Muy bien situado para visitar Jerez el casco antiguo de Jerez..

Perfect treasure

For us this was very different because we don't usually do city apartments. But it was really lovely, exactly as listed. The owner was really helpful and her suggestions certainly enhanced our experience. We enjoyed the Alcazar, Flemenco, Tapas, Lustau Bodega and the cafe culture. Jerez is quite a treasure and this apartment is perfectly placed. It is also safe with a good place to park your car (suggest you heed owners advice re small car for both the narrow streets and parking).

An Extremely Pleasurable Experience

A superb 2 week holiday was enjoyed here in April 2014. We thought the apartment would be very good after reading all the testimonials, in fact it exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect for the tourist; just 3 minutes walk to the main square, that is if you do not dally at the 4 bars on route! A further 2 minutes walking and you are in the heart of the restaurant or shopping area. To the opposite side of this square is the Alcazar/Cathedral and the Tio Pepe wineries visit.

This upper floor apartment occupies the prime position in the block; its 5 main windows all face south over a wide forecourt. There is direct sunshine through them from morning to evening, shaded by shutters/blinds/nets/drapes, even if it happens to be a low angle Winter sun. This engenders a sunny disposition in the holidaymaker.

Cooling and heating is of integral whole apartment style by ducted air to outlets in lounge, dining and both bedrooms.

These 2 bedrooms are quiet for sleeping, due to modern double glazed windows facing onto a quiet back street. ( Google Earth: Jerez Calle Pavon)

The bathroom has a 4 piece suite, incorporating a beer cooler and powerful shower. Hot water is 24/7.

The kitchen has a particularly full complement of equipment and a wide range of consumables is kindly provided.

A large quantity of good quality towels and linen is in place.

Security is strong due to key entry to the foyer of the block and a high security door to the flat itself.

The perimeter walled flat roof is a sun trap; there are chairs up there so that quiet secluded reading can be enjoyed. Mary provides an extensive library.

We thought that the free secure parking in a city centre for our hired Punto and then to be whisked to the door of our apartment was a substantial luxury feature.

Mary did a splendid job as our Personal Trip Advisor: keen to use her Spanish to book visits/restaurants, provided pages of typed information regarding the local scene plus e-mails and texts so that we did not miss any events.

We think this has to be the best overall package available to the the tourist in Jerez and it all comes at a remarkably low cost.

A perfect apartment and host in Jerez. We have traveled to many corners of the planet and have never had a more pleasing experience. Mary was a wonderful host. We felt as if we were at home in Fez and greatly appreciated the time that Mary took to introduce us to the Jerez. Worth every penny and a "must choose" for any English speaking guest.

El apartamento es nuevo, con 2 dormitorios, localizado en un edificio pequeño de estilo andaluz, al lado de la iglesia más bonita de Jerez, San Miguel, en una calle muy tranquila. Se trata de un barrio muy vinculado con el flamenco, con el sabor del Jerez antiguo, pero al mismo tiempo en el centro de todo. Está muy cerca de la Plaza Arenal, con tiendas, monumentos, numerosos bares y restaurantes a 5 minutos andando. La mayoría de las bodegas que se pueden visitar están también cerca así como las salidas hacia la costa y el campo de golf que se encuentra a 5-10 minutos en coche. Jerez es una ciudad perfectamente situada para visitar la Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos y la Costa de la Luz.

Golf: There are two golf courses within easy reach of the apartment: Sherry Golf, which is only 4 kms from the flat and very easy to reach since it is on the coast road - on the same side of town as the apartment; and Montecastillo, a prestigious resort with a course designed by Jack Nicklaus. Thiis is about 9 kms from the apartment, but is also easy to reach since it isn't necessary to cross the city centre to get there.

Apartamento muy tranquilo, equipado para que se sienta como en casa. Tiene el plus de un garaje en el centro de la ciudad, donde es realmente difícil aparcar. Ideal para toda clase de viajeros - familias (hay una cuna disponible), parejas, negocios, golfistas etc. Las tiendas del centro y la preciosa plaza del mercado están a un paso y hay un supermercado muy cerca. Hay un surtido de libros, mayormente en español e inglés, y DVDs. La cocina está preparada para cocinar de verdad, aunque, si quieren, hay bares y restaurantes a pocos metros.
