The loft was wonderful--very clean and super cool. The museam downstairs was great, and we also dined at the restaurant downstairs one night. The whole stay was a great experience and the hosts were so kind and available if needed but not obtrusive. Highly recommended
What a beautiful place to stay! The space n decor is unmatched. There is all of the convenience of walking to town, eating at cafe Arielle downstairs or cooking yourself in the loft’s full kitchen. We did all 3 and loved our stay. Best of all we were able to bring our beagles and they absolutely loved the road trip.
Lives up to the hype
Comfortable stay, friendly and helpful hosts in a great location close by switchback trail. Would highly recommend.
Fabulous space in Jim Thorpe
The hosts were incredibly accessible and accommodating. This space is more than can be conveyed in photos and the description. The location is perfect to stroll downtown. The space is historic and was brilliantly designed.
A Large Space but Very Quiet
I liked that it was clean and I liked the style of the place. Very big space and also quiet.
Hosts were awesome. Friendly & accommodating for late night arrival.
Bathroom was spacious, modern, and clean.
Location was a short walk from several restaurants and shops.
Dreamy and Spacious Artists Loft minutes from the center of town
Our stay was nothing short of amazing. We traveled with our 5 year old son to see my brother’s show at the Mauch Chunk Opera House. Upon arrival we met with Joan, the owner and she gave us the lay of the land so to speak. They live across the street and we’re available for anything we needed. She is super responsive. And check in was super easy. The loft photos do not do justice to the space because once we checked in with Joan, we were blown away by the entire building. There wasn’t really anything they didn’t think of. The loft was tastefully designed around all of Victor Stabin’s original artwork and it is located above his art gallery and amazing restaurant and bar downstairs (highly recommend). If you don’t want to venture into town, you have plenty to do within the building. The walk into town is about a half mile and we walked back and forth often to soak in the area, the history, the train rides and the multitude of museums along the way. If you are looking for a unique HomeAway experience this is your place to stay. And the bathroom is out of this world!
