Okay, but not as advertised
We got into the home with no problems. It was very spacious. The kitchen was well appointed. The first issue came when we opened the refrigerator in the kitchen. It was full of used condiments and other items. We cleaned everything out and loaded in the groceries we brought. There was a second refrigerator in the “mudroom” area. We thought this would be perfect for drinks. However, it was also full of used food and black moldy looking stuff. So far, none of this was concerning enough that we couldn’t handle it ourselves and keep moving with our vacation. We realized that evening that the Wi-Fi password provided wasn’t correct. I messaged and promptly received the correct password. The next day, my son went to leave one of the downstairs bedrooms and not one, but both doorknobs fell off. It was obvious they weren’t screwed on. He was locked in the room and had to use the window to get out. I messaged the company and let them know about the situation and that it needed repair. The response I received said thanks for letting us know and enjoy the mountains. No one ever showed up to fix it. This was surprising given the quick response to the Wi-Fi problem. The listing also showed furniture on the dock, there was nothing. The furniture on the deck was covered which was also not as advertised. The listing showed a porch swing on the bottom level, but there was no furniture down there. I felt that given the response to the doorknob, it was pointless to reach out to anyone.
