Great property, good service
Great, well recommended
Our family of 6, including 4 kids aged 11-15, loved this resort and this villa. The property was spotless when we arrived (and I am a bit of a germaphobe so I can’t usually say this). The property manager met us there to be sure we had all that we needed and even left us a few key groceries and beverages to get our stay started. The space was perfect for our family and we especially enjoyed the huge balcony for grilling and eating and relaxing. The resort is lovely with lots to do. We accessed the beach from the Beach club (pool, bar volleyball etc) as well as from a More secluded area which was just gorgeous. Beautiful calm water. Everyone who works at the resort is more than accommodating. It is well located near several attractions (El Yunque rain forest, bioluminescent bay, San Juan and Old San Juan, etc). We highly recommend this villa and would love to come again in the future!
In love with the decoration
We had a great time at the villa. I am in love with the décor. Felt like we had traveled to Morocco for the weekend. Thanks for the cute detail of preparing the fridge with some nice snacks and essentials. Beds were very comfy, tons of additional towels, covers and pillow were available. You can adjust the AC to your preference. Washer and dryer worked fine. The kitchen was well prepared with all you might need.
Just two things that might need some fixing. We tried unsuccessfully to get the jacuzzi in the master bath to work. It would have been nice to be able to use it. The golf cart was making some funny noises. We were worried it would stop working but luckily it survived the weekend.
I would stay at this lovely villa again if I have another chance in the future.
I brought four teenage girls to PR and the place was perfect. The villa had everything we could have wanted. We ate most meals in the villa. The property has plenty of things to do.
Perfect vacation spot!
The apartment was in great conditions and the pools and beach were absolutely gorgeous! We were even treated to a complimentary welcome package that included breakfast goodies and happy hour essentials! Everything went perfect. Loved, loved out stay!
We are thrilled to read you loved your stay and appreciate your time in writing this lovely review about Villa Casablanca. We hope this is just the beginning of many stays!
Luxurious, Private, Plush, Beautiful, Developing, and Expensive.
I stayed at Las Verandas inside the Bahia Beach Resort and Golf Club for three wonderful days with my wife and two teenage children. We had a wonderful time, everything was as advertised. The unit that we stayed in was well furnished and decorated. We had two spacious bedrooms each with its own on suite bathroom. The master bedroom has a jetted tub and both bathrooms are spacious. The kitchen and the living room, along with the balcony provide more than enough room for an average sized family. I believe that there is adequate space for a family of up to seven. Everything is of good quality and works well. The central air was great during these hot days of August.
A few minor things that were on the "down" side for me were that the unit is on the second floor of a three story building. I would have preferred the top floor or the first floor, I didn't know that before I got there. Also, the kitchen has an electric stove, I prefer gas appliances, and markings on the knobs for the oven are worned out and the labels are half erased so that you don't really know what the setting is. The last thing was that there is a scale in the master bathroom. It seemed to work the first day but it looks like the batteries are dead.
The resort is huge but very private. It did not feel crowded. The golf cart was wonderful for getting around. We had the resort passes that allowed us to use the facilities throughout. The boathouse allowed us to use the kayaks, paddle boards, and bicycles at no additional cost. We also had access to several swimming pools with towel service at each pool. The Beach is large with around two miles of shoreline but it was a bit disappointing because everyday was a red flag day meaning it was dangerous for swimming because the waves were too strong. I talked to a lifeguard there and he told me that it was because we have had a lot of rain lately and that there had been a storm. However, after talking to the lifeguard for a few minutes I got the impression that the Beach has a red flag most of the time. We also used the tennis courts which took us a while to find because they are near the entrance but tucked away by the plush vegetation. My son and my daughter were able to take part in a tennis clinic. That was a perk that I did know about when I got there. We had to pay an additional fee but it was a good clinic.
Overall Bahia Beach is a Wonderful resort if you can afford it. I would love to come back.
