Fantastic location and lovely apartment
Lovely apartment in need of some tlc. It certainly wouldn’t put us off renting again. Perfect location, very central and owners were at the end of the phone dealing with any queries very quickly and efficiently. Very well organised. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience thanks

Do not rent this apartment
Just back from a week in this apartment. Nothing like what is shown in the photos. It is in really bad need of a total refurbishment. Numerous badly cracked tiles on the living room floor, torn curtain in living room, numerous attempts to patch up paintwork that shows it was not done by a professional. Continous dust on floors coming from the air condition vents. Kitchen appliances the inbuilt oven and the micro wave especially needed replacing. Out of 3 only one light bulb worked in the kitchen and also one in the bathroom. As for cleanliness, was surprised to discover hairs in the shower. Ended up giving the kitchen and bathroom a disenfectant clean before we felt able to use both. For the money that we paid for this apartment we expected better.
I feel very hurt by your comments, especially as during your stay you did not contact myself or my management team with these issues. I can confirm that all light bulbs were checked and working prior to your arrival and the air con system checked and certainly no dust was present during the check.
After such a busy summer season the decoration of the apartment is always carried out during the winter months and this has been arranged for December along with the ripped curtains from previous guests being replaced. My management team were very disappointed with your comments of cleanliness as every review of my property show how clean and spotless the apartment was on their arrival. I feel your comments to be very harsh and very unfair.
I sincerely ask all prospective guests to read these comments and take on board that some guests reviews can be very cruel and certainly does not reflect the apartment
3 days of constant drilling from another apartment until works wear stopped no water for 2 days and
Property is little dated with cracks to the floors in living area curtains with rips patio doors which don’t lock mould in the on sweet in the bath room. 1 bed broken had to shuffle beds about from down stairs to up stairs 3 days of constant drilling works 08:00am to 18:00 1 day until 19:00 no water for 2 days and 2 nights .
Other that lol the apartment was well equipped and in a good location.
This is a very unfair review of the apartment, especially as all other reviews have been either 4 or 5 stars!!! As a property manager I was totally unaware of any neighbouring work being carried out in a close by apartment. The water was never completely off all day and was always restored as soon as possible due to a community water leak which was out of anyone's control.
With regards to the broken bed this was not broken on guests arrival and when reported to me I asked if this was an issue and the reply was no, we are not using this bed?? I find it surprising that this was therefore an issue. This was never reported to me again as a problem, however a new bed has now been purchased.
I would also like to mention that the patio door does lock and this has been checked by the management company. Curtains are also being replaced during the winter months as they do have some damage but are currently on order.
This is a very unfair review of this apartment and I ask all potential guests to take this fully into account. Thank you.
Full of light, fantastic views
We had a terrific holiday at Los Olivos over half term. Having previously stayed in a ground floor apartment (which was a little cold and dark in October) we decided to “upgrade” to a penthouse this year. I am so glad that we did as the apartment was warm, airy and full of light. The view from the front terrace, looking towards the sea, was amazing and we also loved the upstairs “back” terrace, looking inland towards the hills, which was wonderfully sunny all day. It was perfectly located for us - close to the tennis centre, a supermarket and a good selection of bars and restaurants.
We would definitely rent this apartment again - hopefully next year!

Lovely bright apartment in good location
We had a lovely time in this apartment - positives are numerous. Very spacious even for 4 adults & 2 children. Well equipped kitchen. Management company dealt quickly with some faults e.g. outside shutter not working on one bedroom. Los Olivos is a great central location in the resort albeit a steep hill to climb to get up to it! Owners very easy and efficient to deal with.
Just a couple of negatives: we could hear banging of doors from the apartment next door so they are not very well sound proofed. Also, the bedroom upstairs has no bathroom which limited it's use for us as we didn't want the children or grandparents using the narrow winding stairs during the night to get to the bathroom.
Overall the apartment is good and a great base for when you are in La Manga club. Worth a visit and the best Los Olivos apartment we've stayed in so far. Thank you

Unfortunately Spanish law does not allow us to build a bathroom on the upper floor however this is the first time I have had this comment and the details on Home Away only states that there is a double bedroom with terrace access on the upper floor. Recently enjoyed a lovely time staying in the property. It’s set in a great location within the club. Great feature is the large terrace overlooking the club and Mar Menor beyond. We spent many evenings enjoying the spectacular views. The property is very large and open with everything you need provided. We had a great time and are returning later in the year. Would definately recommend. Rebecca was great to deal with.

La playa más cercana (La Cala) es menos de una milla de distancia (el terreno es empinado y, por tanto, viajan en coche se recomienda). Hay un montón de playas en el área local, incluyendo las largas y hermosas playas, de arena en Calblanque (10 minutos en coche) y otras playas de La Manga.
La Manga Club es atendida por las aerolíneas con vuelos tanto en Murcia (San Javier) y los aeropuertos de Alicante. Murcia Aeropuerto (San Javier) está a 20 minutos en coche y el aeropuerto de Alicante se encuentra a poco menos de una hora en coche.
Mientras que una gran cantidad de visitantes nunca se siente la necesidad de salir de La Manga Club, hay un montón de lugares para visitar si usted decide tener un cambio de escenario. En el apartamento encontrará un libro lleno de información sobre los lugares de interés locales. Esto incluye el pueblo de Los Belones, que es de aproximadamente 5 a 10 minutos en coche y cuenta con una selección de tiendas, bares y restaurantes. La ciudad de Cartagena está a una corta distancia (menos de 30 minutos en coche) y tiene una variedad de atracciones históricas para disfrutar junto con algunas tiendas fantásticas. Cabo de Palos, un encantador pueblo de pescadores, se encuentra a unos 15 minutos en coche y cuenta con un puerto, excelentes restaurantes de pescado y un gran mercado de domingo por la mañana.
