This Westport Condo couldn't possibly have a better location. Steps away from all Westport. Enjoy an updated 1 bedroom condo with a king bed and two smart tv's The open kitchen features stainless appliances and quartz countertops. We are pet frindly and there is a front yard for dogs. Come enjoy a stay at this Westport Gem!

The Space:
This 650 square foot condo features an open living room with a large LED Smart TV. The kitchen has new cabinets with stainless appliances. The bedroom has king bed and another Smart TV. Wifi included.

Guest Access:
Access to entire condo.

The Neighborhood:
The Westport neighborhood is rich in Kansas City history. Numerous restaurants, bars, shopping and art are within walking distance. You'll also be close to Downtown, Midtown and the Country Club Plaza areas!

Getting Around:
If you opt to not bring a car, RideShare and taxi options are plentiful and easily available. KC Metro bus line also has a nearby stop.

• No parties or events. This is strictly not tolerated.
• No smoking of any kind, includes vaping. Charges assessed for smoking.

Perfect for a quick KC trip

I enjoyed my stay here. The unit was clean, comfortable bed, smart TVs, updated counter tops and appliances, etc. I also liked how it had driveway parking so I didn’t have to leave my rental on the street. The unit is also equipped with 1gig fiber internet from Google, so streaming on a smart TV is seamless. The stairs are very steep walking up to the unit, but that’s nothing to worry about unless you have trouble with stairs. This place worked perfect for my 3 day work trip and I would absolutely stay here again.

A mostly-functional place to stay.

Pros: * Near public transit * Nearby supermarket * Streets were quiet but felt safe * The refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, and clothes washer worked well * Detergent supplied for dishwasher and the clothes washer * Plenty of shower hot water * Nice living room tv * There was no sign of pests * Bed was quite soft, mostly comfortable * The check-in process, with a personal code, was easy Cons: * Glass in front door not frosted, so anyone can look into your living room and kitchen * The door chain for the front door is completely pulled out of the wall and not functioning - more a sign of neglect than safety risk * The clothes dryer can grab onto your clothing in the gap at the front of the drum, and chew it up * The home is very porous; you'll feel drafts and in the unseasonably warm February week we were there, we still experienced dryness * The heating is unbalanced and strange, with cool air coming out some ducts. The bedroom is the coldest room, and the can get cold in the night * You'll see mouse poison traps around the place * We supplied paper towels and toilet paper for the week - there wasn't enough in the house and no way to ask for more * No kitchen staples, crappy pots & pans, and very junky kitchen knives * The host didn't respond to my three attempts to reach them to get extra blankets * A pest company came to spray Tandem insecticide in the home while we were there The place did the job, but we wouldn't come back to it.

Beware

They probably have a unit in the building that’s updated and looks like these pictures but the unit we got sure as hell wasn’t it. The unit we got was carpeted and there was no cute backsplash or anything cute, anywhere, for that matter. Unless you like stains. If you like stains, you’re in luck because this place does have stains. EVERYWHERE. The carpeted floors were wet when we arrived and are FILTHY. And the sofa, which is also something entirely different than what is pictured is also FILTHY. And stained. All over. Every cushion. And if you hate privacy and like light streaming in when you’re trying to sleep, you’re in luck as every blind in the place had bent and/or broken slats. And as a bonus, the unit next door had a chirping smoke detector the entire time we were there that the “cleaning” crew didn’t fix so maybe you can enjoy that too. Also, the bedroom door is coming apart so don’t close the door or you might not be able to get out of the bedroom. If we hadn’t been so busy and out of the apartment during our short time in KC we would not have stayed. I reached out to the property manager numerous times via email and text and got no response back until after I contacted VRBO. One should expect to receive that which has been advertised and we did NOT. We also paid enough money for our stay that none of these things should have been an issue. After this experience we will never book with VRBO ever again.

Experience Westport Here!

Location was great for experiencing Westport. Grocery store right across the street. If you want ice, you’ll need to buy it there. Steep steps to get to condo. Bathroom area is small, tight.. Really nice to have the balcony. Condo owner very personable with great suggestions of where to go and what to do.
