2) Bachelor parties are forbidden. (Hen parties are accepted provided, of course, that they act with responsibility)

3) Short stays of 3 days have a mandatory cleaning fee of 200€ that will be paid in cash on arrival.

4) People not accommodated at the villa are not allowed without previous authorisation of the Property.

5) Celebration of events are not allowed without previous authorization of the Property.

6) Smoking inside the house is forbidden.

Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in the termination of the seasonal lease contract without compensation by the Property.

A sublime mixture among modern, traditional and comfort thanks to the combination of avant-garde furniture design and exclusive colonial pieces originated from India and Burma. Its design and architecture, making the most out of the space and natural light, has lead the house to be front cover of an important national design magazine as well as a highly appreciated scenario for film shootings and advertisement of well-known brands. The house is fully equipped and built using high quality materials: under floor heating, teak Burmese wooden floors of the XVIII century, two fireplaces, laundry room and an ancient wood stove remodeled for its use.

The house stands on top of a torrent from where you can see all the villa and admire its natural caves. The garden has a lounge area equipped with a pool, a teak wood solarium and a porch with BBQ where to enjoy an unforgettable soiree. All this companied by a view of Palma bay that will captivate the guest. To sum up, a natural paradise suitable for families, golfers, cyclists or couples just a few minutes from Palma Center.

“Es Barranc Vell” zeichnet sich durch ihr modernes Design und ihre Architektur aus, ohne dabei das Wesen der typisch mallorquinischen Villen zu verlieren: die außergewöhnliche Mischung aus Tradition, Moderne und Komfort ist der Kombination von avantgardistischem Designermobiliar mit kolonialen Unikaten aus Indien und Birma zu verdanken. Durch ihre Architektur, die sich der Raumnutzung und dem natürlichen Licht verschrieben hat, hat es die Villa auf die Titelseite einer wichtigen spanischen Designzeitschrift geschafft. Außerdem wird sie als Szenario für Dreharbeiten, sowohl für Kinofilme, als auch für Werbung bekannter Marken, sehr geschätzt.

Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet und gebaut mit Materialien höchster Qualität: Fußbodenheizung, Badezimmer mit Schieferfliesen, Holzböden aus dem Holz birmanischer Tekabäume aus dem 18. Jahrhundert, zwei Kamine, eine Waschküche und ein alter, wieder benutzbar gemachter Holzofen.

Dank der Lage oberhalb eines Sturzbaches überblickt man vom Haus aus das ganze Anwesen mit seinen sagenhaften natürlichen Höhlen. Im Garten befindet sich eine Ruhezone mit Schwimmbecken, umrundet von einer Sonnenterasse aus Ipé-Holz und eine Grillveranda, um unvergessliche Abende zu verbringen. Zu alldem genießt der Gast einen Ausblick auf die Bucht von Palma, der ihn nicht unberührt lassen kann. Kurz gesagt: ein Naturparadies, wenige Minuten von Palma.

'Es Barranc Vell' has belonged to my family for several generations. This centenary Villa has been remodeled 5 years ago but still keeps the essence of the typical Majorcan architecture.

We love our Island and we like to transmit this feeling to our guests. For this reason, we will be pleased to advise our guests of the cultural offers of the Island, beaches to visit, good restaurants, interesting night clubs, etc so that they can enjoy and appreciate the Island just as Majorcan people do.

Besides, we are specialized in organizing any activity or service our guests may need during they stay.

In May 2014 my friends and I had the pleasure to stay in the Villla Es Barranc Vell. All I can say is that it was fantastic! The hostess, Irene, was charming and very kind with us. The day of our arrival she prepared a welcoming snack with drinks and some local food. Irene was very attentive during all of our stay and helped us calling taxis and she recommended some really good restaurants. About the house, I can say that is incredible and its decorated with an exquisite taste. All rooms have a special charm, my favorite was a small music room with vaulted ceiling and a large window with views over the garden. It had many classical and jazz music collection and the acoustic was excellent! Another place which deserves a special mention is its beautiful and modern swimming pool, perfectly integrated into the natural surrounding and with impressive views of Palma (especially at night). Hear we did a BBQ and I remember it as one of the best moments of our stay. All I can say is that my friends and I just felt in love with the Villa. We spent a dream weekend, very peaceful, immersed in nature and with a brilliant hostess. Thanks and we will repeat for sure.

Beautiful luxury villa

I stayed at this villa with a group of 14 girls. The villa surpassed all of our expectations. The decor is beautiful and the villa is extremely spacious, clean and all furniture is of the highest standard. The pool area is fantastic with a large dining table, shaded area with sofas as well as a lovely pool and sun loungers which seem to get the sun all day and evening. Irene, the owner, was also so helpful and really made our trip so smooth and easy. She went over and above to make sure we had a lovely stay. I would highly recommend this villa.
