Not really worth the price we paid
For the price that we paid, equivalent to 3 nights at Palisades Tahoe Lodge, it is definitely not worth it.
One good thing is that Marco is excellent in responding to my inquiries and messages. I really appreciate his timely response, although there was not much he could do about most of the issues we faced.
First off, the pellet stove heater does not work. We had to rely on the baseboard heaters which is hard to control temperature. There was NO coffee or shampoo available. The shower head leaks and shoots water from the joint when in use. The tub drainage lever is half closed most of the time and needs toggling to ensure proper flow. The utensils and cookware in the drawers and cabinets are obviously dirty. My wife had to hand washed everything before use to ensure cleanliness. The bathroom door cannot be locked! The light fixtures in the bathroom and dining area have burnt out bulbs and living room does not have enough lighting. Check-out time of 10am is unreasonable with request that dishwasher run is complete before departing, due to need to shut off water valve. Parking is an issue especially when the parking lot is not entirely cleared of snow. All in all, building and unit is dated (tub has stains), but a lot of these could be fixed if upkeeping of unit is better. If I were paying half the price that I have paid, I would probably just overlook these. :)
Nonetheless, Marco is a very responsive host and I do appreciate his effort in responding. Thank you for the effort!
