Lägenheten jättefin. Trevligt mottagande och bemötande under vistelsen av Ranjan.
Det som var minus var att det var långt till supermarket och matställen.
Och att det var så blåsigt, men det kan man ju inte göra så mycket åt.

Meget tiltalende compund med utroligt velplejede grønne arealer og swimmingpool. Dejlig lejlighed.
Meget lydt, hvlket skyldets byggeriets utroligt dårlige standard og intet havde at gøre med ferieboligen i øvrigt.

Nous avons passé de très bonnes semaines dans cet appartement de Manilva très bien équipé, confortable. La résidence est extrêmement propre et bien entretenue par Rajan et sa femme qui sont très gentils. La piscine est super agréable, sécurisée pour de jeunes enfants et la plage accessible en 10 minutes à pied. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Booking: Super simple and owners communications were excellent, right down to directions to get to the apartment. Perfect!
Travel: We flew into Malaga from the UK and after picking up our rental car it was a good 55 minutes to the apartment but we knew that when we booked. Gibraltar flights would be only 30 mins drive, traffic dependent.
Arrival: Small misunderstanding regarding the location of keys but nothing that couldn’t be resolved with the info provided.
Apartment: Firstly, we do not agree with previous comments regarding cleanliness. We found the apartment to be perfectly clean. Good sized lounge area with good double sofa bed which our 9-year-old enjoyed. Small Kitchenette well equipped with our only comment being that the crockery could be updated a bit to ensure improved ‘continuity’. The fridge, washing machine and dishwasher were all good and in perfect working order.
1 x Double room with en-suite. New double bed with storage under which was handy for cases and kept wardrobes clear. 1 x twin room also with ample storage within.
Family shower room more than adequate and fully functioning.
Air conditioning throughout was super-efficient.
Balcony overlooking pool which mainly gets the late afternoon and evening sun. Nice views of surrounding hills and sunsets.
Locality: Gated community in well kept gardens, lovely and quiet to allow a relaxing holiday. Nearby Puerto de La Duquesa is 5 mins in car/taxi where you can find restaurants, cafes, bars etc. 5 min walk to beach and beach bars. Pool opens at 12:00 daily and is supervised. Kids and main pool, plenty of sun beds sunshades/trees available for those who don’t like the sun too much.
The underground car parking with remote secure kept the car cool and the lift ran from the garage straight to the apartment floor.
At the bottom of the road is a mini market which covers essentials. Nearest supermarket is only 5 mins away by car in Puerto De La Duquesa for more variety.
Area: Driving times - Estepona 20 mins, Gibraltar 30 mins, Malaga 55 mins, Ronda 1hr 20 mins.
Would we go back? Absolutely and we hope the owner will allow us to! We felt the apartment was excellent value for money. Regards the owner, we had a minor issue which we informed him about during our stay. He was genuinely unaware of the matter but dealt with it quickly, efficiently to our complete satisfaction. Honestly, what more can you ask for?

Great find within easy walking distance of the beach
We found the flat pretty much as described in the listing and were happy with our three week stay. The underground parking and lift were a great help to us as we had our car with us so it was nice that it was secure.. The flat was clean and comfortable. The wi fi worked well and we had NO problems with it. The flat was well equipped although the kitchen could have done with a bit more equipment...probably OK as is for a short Summer let but needs a bit more in the way of pots/pans/dishes etc for a longer Winter let. There were a few MINOR maintenance issues like light bulbs not working etc that needed attending too which the landlord has in hand but absolutely nothing to stop you renting this flat and having a great time. The heating worked well and we were warm in January. The water tank was big enough for a lovely full relaxing bath at end of a busy day sightseeing. The washing machine and double bed were brand new and there was plenty of linen, towels etc. It was a shame that the balcony was always in shade but there is a large pool area with loungers where you can soak up the sun if you wish. Overall I would recommend this flat and wouldn't hesitate to return if visiting the area again. The landlord was helpful as was the site agent.
