We'd highly recommend this cottage. It was spotless and well-appointed, with lots of useful instructions. We stayed during quite a grey week but the cottage was so cosy it felt like a week of lazy Sundays. The scenery in the area is lovely. The village pub was welcoming with good food.

The property was clean and comfortable.
Parking was a nightmare.

We had a fantastic holiday in Rose cottage. We were very lucky with the weather so were able to make the most of the stunning location. The bedrooms are very comfortable & spacious, the kitchen is very well equipped & you arrive to a lovely welcome pack so you can start your holiday...

Myself together with 8 friends visited Durham House for our usual Christmas weekend away. What a great choice, the house is really homely, clean with fantastic rooms. The little touches like the welcome tray, tissue boxes in some of the rooms was great.

The Old Vicarage Barn is located right in the heart of Youlgreave, close to the pubs and shops. There are excellent walks right out of the village and the scenery all around is breathtaking.

I'm writing to say how much we all enjoyed our stay in your large farmhouse July 31 to August 7. The space was ideal for our diverse mixed age family group and the fittings were first class. The swimming pool was a great hit .....the icing on the cake! Thank you very much

We recently spent a fantastic weekend at Uppermoor Farm Retreats celebrating a 30th birthday, we found them spotless, well equipped and excellant pre-arrival and arrival information, made to feel really welcome. All the bedrooms were beautifully presented and extremely comfortable.

I love this house so much I keep coming back. I have had great holidays here with friends and family. The house is laid out in a clever way that allows large gatherings as well as having areas to get away on your own to read a book.

Fantastic location with stunning views and excellent standard of accomodation with everything you could need. We all enjoyed the swimming pool and games room and our dog would like a field like that to play football in at home - so sad to leave

The little extras made our stay all the more welcoming, for instance, the fresh milk for a welcoming cuppa on arrival

We were very impressed with the standard of homely touches provided with 'extras' e.g. pump soaps, hand towel in the bathroom, a chocolate frog in the welcome pack as it was realised that we had one (or more) small children with us.

Just wanted to drop you a quick e-mail to thank you so much for our wonderful stay at Upper Moor Farm. We reluctantly left this morning after an amazing week. Our parents and friends were all blown away by the cottage, truly magnificent.

The facilities in the coach house are excellent, and I LOVED the woodburner, which made the nights very romantic, particularly with a bottle of chilled bubbly! The location is fantastic, lots of beautiful villages in close proximity, and the local walks are fantastic.
