Lovely sleepy holiday

Had a most enjoyable stay at this apartment. It was comfortable and clean. The owner was really friendly and plesant to deal with and went out of his way to be helpful. He organised for us to be met at the airport by the person that manages his property, which took the stress out of finding our own way there. The same person was available
for us to contact if we had any problems so we didn't feel we'd been abandoned.
We developed an affection for San Miguel and liked the fact that it was away from the bustling tourist resort of Torreviejo. Definitely need a car to make the most of your stay, unless you are content to just flop and not explore at all. There is a fabulous large open-air municipal pool a five
minute walk down the road complete with small cafe. Lovely place to spend the day. Also not to be missed is a visit to the castle just outside San Miguel -which is a restaurant. Very beautiful setting and reasonably priced menu. The supermarkets were cheaper than home, and the market in San Miguel on Wednesday is well worth a visit. Fruit and veg is gorgeous. All in all a very relaxing holiday. Really didn't want to come home.

Brilliant Holiday

We had a wonderful holiday in the apartment. It has everything you need. Ideal location for travelling around. Situated in a typical Spanish village with many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Swimming pool on the roof is perfect place to relax in the sun. We would recommend the apartment and will definitely be going again.

Two Sisters Visiting Spain for the First Time!

We were looking for a relaxing & quiet holiday and were NOT disappointed.
San Miquel is a beautiful village and the people were very friendly with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars all within a few minutes walk away. The Irish Bar has a good kareoke night with locals & Expats.
The apartment was very clean, well maintained and provided everything you needed, the neighbours were helpful and made you feel welcome. As for the large roof top & pool.... bliss, with great views.
A car is recommended if you want to explore outside the village.
San Miquel was perfect for us and within 3 days of being back in the UK I have rebooked to go back In October this year, which I think says enough! and we have recommended to friends.

Have stayed here many times and would recommend this apartment for its cleanliness, location, handy for everything and the local town has some great bars and restaurants.
The Apartment block is secure and very clean and tidy and within walking distance to all the shops, bars and banks.
Will stay here again as it is very good value for money.

we wanted to get away for a couple of weeks -just to chill and relax - this was the perfect place - the apartment was well equipped ( i would recommend you take a couple of your own dvd's).
we did not hire a car but from murcia airport it was a fair E35 in taxi-
we found the residents in the block very helpfull and almost put themselves out to make sure we enjoyed our stay -
supermarkets handy and reasonably priced -
we found that on many occasions we had the pool to ourselves , its a real sun trap and with the breeze it is easy to get caught out so make sure you add the sun cream.
there are so many places to eat out ,spanish /indian /chinese and most have a daily specials menu that are good value -
we enjoyed going for a walk after our meal and the locals are very friendly .
This is not the place to come if you want singing and dancing till the early hours -but if you want to relax and be able to pop out for a trouble free relaxing drink ,with the locals then its brill - the NUT HOUSE is a prime example where locals and visiters mix and enjoy a drink .
As mentioned we did'nt hire a car but were happy to lounge by the pool most of the day - if you want to explore then a car is a must - we did use the bus to torrevieieja it was cheap but you need to check the returns times and bus stops . ( can cath it from outside town hall-)

Firstly the communication with the owner was excellent, very friendly and easy to deal with.
The appartment was exactly as described, very well maintained, very clean and very well equipped. Could not find fault with the appartment it provided all, and the rooftop pool was welcomed for those who cannot and don't fancy leaving the appartment block. It is very calm and quiet if you would like to get away from the hustle and bustle and just relax. However if you want more 'action' you can visit neighbouring areas where there is more activity, which is why I think a car is essential, as
you can explore more. So this appartment is perfect as you have the best of both worlds.
Had a great time and the previous visitors have left a wealth of information that offers advice on places to visit and what to do.
However I would advise visitors to bring their own dvd's and music as the ones provided are.....lets just say there is 'eclectic' and there is the Casa Spa collection :-) To be fair I did find some great ones among the Mike Reid and other ropey compilations but bring your own!!!! I would wholeheartedly recommend this appartment but you will need a car if you want to get around.

this apartment is very spacious and has all the amienaties that you need for a quiet relaxing holiday. The rooftop pool is exellant and has great views of the surrounding area.The bars are in walking distance and are all very friendly

Everything that is said about the aprtment is spot on. The apartment is ideally located in this beautiful village...in a beautiful part of Spain. We spent may hours on the huge roof terrace....so very relaxing ...whilst taking the odd dip in the pool to cool off. We ate very well at a different restaurant/bar each night...all within easy walking distance. The area is very safe so my boy had the freedom and time of his life !! I hope to visit again soon and have no hesitation in recommending the apartment to friends and family alike
