Fabulous holiday!

We have recently returned from a great holiday in this beautiful villa. From the moment we made our initial inquiry we couldn't have received better service. We were provided with lots of helpful information about Tavira and its surrounding attractions which we made good use of during our stay.
We travelled in a party of four adults and four children ranging in age from 10 to 14 years. The villa accommodated us all adequately and the boys made good use of the tennis court / football pitch. They also enjoyed the close proximity to the lovely pool areas. We all made good use of the Tavira Garden Restaurant on the complex - lovely, good quality food, friendly staff and great service (highly recommend the Friday night bbq during the summer!).
The villa itself was clean, comfortable and very homely. It provided everything we could possibly need during our stay. It was also an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful Eastern Algarve. We found that a hire car was beneficial. We visited 4 different beaches and the waterpark in Quarteria ('Aquashow' - big hit with the boys!) - all within a 30 minute easy drive.
We loved Tavira itself. It has a lovely atmosphere with many restaurants, bars and shops without being commercialised. We also had a lovely day on Tavira Island - a 10 min boat ride from Tavira - miles of sandy beach and clear water. Another day we enjoyed a boat ride on the Ria Formosa and saw some pink flamingos!
All in all - a fabulous holiday in a fabulous villa. We stayed for 10 days and felt that there was lots still to do - so hopefully we will return one day!

We had a wonderful holiday at this beautiful villa - everything you need is provided to a very high standand in this spacious accomodation which has a lovely garden and barbeque the excellent swimming pool is just opposite
Had a wonderful day at a nearby beach where a small boat took us over the lagoon to a gorgeous uncrowded beach and Tavira town centre is fabulous with lots of great restaurants and plenty to see and do
There is so much to do in the local area from great shopping including local markets lots of great eating places and wonderful beaches and nearby golf courses
I can't wait to go back
Had a wonderful day at a nearby beach where a small boat took us over the lagoon to a gorgeous uncrowded beach and Tavira town centre is fabulous with lots of great restaurants and plenty to see and do
There is so much to do in the local area from great shopping including local markets lots of great eating places and wonderful beaches and nearby golf courses
I can't wait to go back

Our holiday in Tavira was excellent, the villa was spacious, luxurious and well equipped with a garden/patio and balconies for relaxing – we definitely made use of the garden ~ having a BBQ most days. The villa was well maintained and very clean with carefully thought-out furnishings and paintings. We loved the feel of the place.
We hired a car from the airport having been given useful directions, but walked most of the time into the centre enjoying the wonderful views.
We would happily recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in Tavira the complex is beautiful with two swimming pools, gym and restaurant and a friendly representative on site to deal with any queries. There were some great restaurants and bars in the centre offering great food. What more could you ask for.
We hired a car from the airport having been given useful directions, but walked most of the time into the centre enjoying the wonderful views.

What can I say but wow after a very stressful year working in England but living in France all I and my friends wanted to do was to chill, relax and think of nothing and we did this in bags full here in May 2010
Not only was this place clean, safe for all me and all my girlfriends but also packed with things for us to do if we so wished (information book) it was also sssssssssooooooooo trendy and stylish for a rental property, we didnt want to leave.
We would happily recamend this property to anyone looking for sancuary, peace of mind, safety and above all a warm welcoming feeling as you enter
And by the way loved Tavira Gardens as well and hope you enjoy your stay as much as we all did.

A relaxing retreat not to be missed!

A group of us went out to stay and it was truly fantastic. Just what we were looking for. From the initial enquiry we had a first class service and the advice and welcome information made sure our holiday set off on the right foot.
We hired a car from the airport and has a straightforward and easy drive to the villa. The accommodation was amazing, lots of space, great condition and the patio was a real sun trap for the bbq! The complex is beautiful, the staff are friendly, food was nice and a great location as only a short walk into the centre.
Taveria itself is full of character and made for a perfect setting to relax in. We sampled some interesting sights, great restaurants, fab cake shop and the cocktails were lush! There is plenty to do to keep you entertained. A short drive to various beaches means you can take your pick which you fancy to soak up the sun.There is a nearby golf course which is pretty reasonable and the guys on our trip certainly took advantage of it!
I have already booked for later this year to go out with the girls to soak up some sun and sample some shopping in Seville -only a couple of hours away.I am sure it won't be my last visit either!

Summer 2010 Review of Palm Villa

This accommodation is first class! The quality of villa is superb (just as advertised) with all the facilities that you need either in the villa, on the very well maintained complex or at the nearby supermarkets. We had four adults and two children in our party and we all had a fabulous time at the villa and in the beautiful town of Tavira.
This was our first visit to Portugal but it will certainly not be our last, if this is was its like! The weather was fantastic, the main pool at Tavira Gardens (which is only about twenty steps from the villa) was very refreshing and visited most days by us all and the restaurant by the pool served quite good food....plus a bonus was the table football and pool table which was also well used.
We had decided not to hire a car for this holiday and had booked a taxi from Faro airport which was very efficient and on time both ways! We walked down and back up to Tavira town most nights (its about twenty mins walk each way, but well worth it!) and the atmosphere was brilliant...super for families with a wide range of good quality restaurants and Ice Creams -Cafe Romana by the Roman Bridge is the best for the Ice Cream!!
The nearest train station is Porto Nova (only about 15mins walk towards town) and is very good for taking you further away without a car. We visited Spain for the day - train to Villa Real then ferry across border river to Spanish town of Ayamonte. Only forty mins on train and 15 mins on ferry...worth a trip!
Overall, we would highly recommend both this villa and the town of Tavira as a great place for a superb holiday!!

The location of the villa, only 8 minutes' drive from the centre of attractive Tavira town, and a similar distance from beautiful beaches, is ideal. The grounds with tropical gardens, pools and amenities make a lovely setting.
The villa is spacious, luxurious and well equipped with a garden and balconies for relaxing. Every room has been carefully thought-out with pretty furnishings and paintings. For families it is handy having two living rooms so those who want to watch TV can do so while others can have a chat elsewhere.
The villa is in a quiet corner of the grounds near the pool and restaurant and is fairly secluded.
The owner provided an accurate description, useful directions from the airport and handy tourist information in the villa with restaurant recommendations etc.
The property was clean and well maintained with a friendly representative on site to deal with any queries.
There is a supermarket open daily just a short walk away.

A Jewel in Portugal’s Crown

An immaculate and beautifully modern villa (with some lovely rustic touches) of a very high standard with every facility you could wish for. The Tavira gardens complex has lots of great facilities including a restaurant which serves good food.
We hired a car but walked into Tavira several times to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings, great food & wine available. Thankfully this fishing village has not been ruined by tourism, still having its historical buildings & features.
The people were friendly and helpful wherever we went – A great holiday and will be back next year.

A True Gem

Thank you for a wonderful holiday. My partner and I loved our time in Tavira. What a hot spot and to say picturesque would be an understatement. So many websites make their villas look better in photos then in reality but this villa was everything we wanted and more. Fantastic location, Great size, plenty of space to relax in. Great grounds around the property including the private patio, a perfect sun spot! The décor inside was beautiful and absolutely immaculate. The welcome folder was very informative and in fact we booked several trips that we may not have discovered had we not had this information. Everything you need is around you, peace and quiet is the local setting but not too far is a more social area with bars and clubs perfect for us being in are early 20’s, we had the best of both worlds. Take a bus to Faro and you’re spoilt for choice with fantastic restaurants, bars and clubs. This small review doesn’t even scratch the surface of our wonderful stay here but I’ll leave some compliments to other guests. Thank you for providing a truly fantastic villa, it made our holiday all that more special.

Many thanks for a wonderful holiday in your villa. It is beautiful and there are some lovely pieces in the house which make it very attractive and homely to stay in.
The facilities were marvelous especially the restaurant which I ate in several times and really enjoyed.
Mateus was particularly helpful and helped make our stay a pleasant on.
Thanks again for everything and who knows maybe we'll look to rent your villa again.
