We have recently returned to the UK having spent three months in this apartment, through January to the end of March. We found it ideal in almost every way. The position is perfect being only two minutes to steps down to a lovely cove and access to Byrianni beach. In the other direction one quickly has access to the Balcon de Europe, shops, restaurants and long coastal walks to the other end of town.

The apartment block is very well maintained as is the garden, lovely to sit in throughout our stay. Two lifts give access to a huge roof for hanging washing, sunbathing and enjoying magnificent views of sea and mountains.

The flat itself is delightful. The two bathrooms have excellent power showers. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need including good quality saucepans and sharp knives. We found the bed and its duvets gave us very warm and comfortable nights.

The lounge, dining and balcony furnitures are lovely. We had sunny breakfasts on the balcony almost every morning, sipping wonderfully sweet freshly-squeezed orange juice. It was apparently a colder than usual winter in Nerja and many afternoons and evenings we couldn't have managed without the heater and cosying up with the spare duvet. But we are in our seventies! The flat loses the sun by mid day but the garden is so accessible with plenty of other places to sit close by that this was not a problem for us. (I would recommend that the owners provide a pair of light foldable chairs for guests.)

I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment for short or long stays and as for a long winter spell in Nerja .......... Perfect.

We stayed here for a week in April and we didn't want to come home. The apartment is absolutely perfect! Its in a great location (5 minutes walk to the middle of town).

The view from the balcony is just wonderful and I spent many hours sitting there with a glass of wine looking at the sea.

The apartment is also very good, the bed was very comfortable, the sofas were very large and the kitchen is very well stocked (we are avid cooks!). It was all very easy to organise and when we had a problem making the cooker work (we were being stupid!) they were very quick to come and help us.

I can't recommend it enough and would love to return again.

A lovely apartment with beautiful sea view, pool, gardens and within a stone's throw of a small, safe beach. Stayed for a week, thoroughly enjoyed it. Apartment has all that you need: well equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms and comfortable beds. Proximity to the small town of Nerja meant that we only had to use the car on cultural trips out to Malaga (40 mins) and Granada (1.15 hours). Good range of local restaurants and some great places for a sundowner and ice-cream! We'd definitely like to go again.

To let you know we are back home and had a very good stay in your apartment. The location was excellent and we enjoyed the fact that it was so well equipped and felt much more like Home than many places where we have stayed. We were lucky to have good weather and a fun New Year on the Balcon with much celebration and merriment!

We tried to leave everything in good order and as we found it.

We will come back to you again when we are planning another trip to Nerja if we may?

We had a terrific time - the weather, was amazing, wall-to-wall blue skies, with the exception of Friday when there was quite a heavy sea mist.

Position-wise it couldn't have been better, we went to the beach every afternoon, so either went down the steps opposite, or via the Parador.

The pool was still pretty quiet in the mornings, so I managed to get a few lengths in!

The apartment was perfect and so lovely, you have struck the balance between really lovely furnishings and practicality and it was a pleasure to stay there. I honestly don’t think we could have had an easier holiday; 5 mins to the beach and 5 mins to dinner. Also we were pleasantly surprised at the cost of things as last year in Corsica we gulped every time we had a pizza with the children, although it did mean we ate out 85% rather than our usual 50% so feel we have a good handle on all Nerja’s dining experiences.

Thanks also for Sky, we spent the evening of the Olympic opening, watching it on TV with a Chinese take-away ….very decadent behaviour! Also the pool and communal grounds was immaculate and so quiet – it was hard to believe you were in the centre of a town as there was no noise at night.

We have already recommended it to friends as it really was the nicest place to stay and thank you so much for making the organisation of everything so easy.

We are very envious that you have that as a holiday base..and thanks for letting us stay.

This apartment is in a great location, a stones throw from the main centre with all the shops and restaurants and the beach across the road. The apartment is modern and clean with everything you need, quite at night so no disturbed sleep.
What can I say this holiday was fantastic and my husband and I have now been to Nerja 3 times and said this was the best apartment. Karen the owner Arranged for some one to meet us at the apartments with the keys, they were waiting for us when we arrived. Although a car is not essiantial we decided to hire one to explore the other towns, frigiliana, torrox, alumneca, great drives on the coastal road.
I would recommend this apartment to all my friends and family.
And hope to return shortly.

My husband and I stayed at the appartment from 6th->16th September 2011. The handover/arrangements for dropping off luggage and picking up keys worked perfectly, which meant we could start our holiday immediately and make the most of the last day. The property was clean, well maintained and well furnished with everything we needed for a great holiday. The property is in a fabulous position overlooking the pool to the front and then over towards the sea almost immediately to the right, and to the hills and cliffs in the distance. It's perfectly located for walking to the Balcon Area, (about 5 mins walk), to a wide range of restaurants and shops and for tumbling down on to the Carabeo beach, (at the bottom end of the building, (less than 5 mins walk). In spite of its great, central position, the property was quiet during our stay (the small road at the bottom end of the pool area is pedestrianized). We had a very relaxing holiday, enjoying the pool area and afternoon siestas. The pool is in an elevated position and overlooks the Carabeo Bay. The pool is a decent size; it would take me about 45 mins to do 30 laps around the pool each day. We also borrowed the children's snorkelling gear and had a go with the gear in the sea, which was calm during our stay and we could clearly see little fish in the shallows. We enjoyed that so much, we will buy our own gear for next year .... There are stacks of other places to visit for the day, (Malaga; Granada; Frigiliana, Rhonda, Seville - better as an overnight, to name a few). However, we have done those many times before, so this time just enjoyed the fabulous weather and chilled out and enjoyed Nerja, Carabeo and Burriana. We walked for the paper each morning and had a coffee or breakfast on route, swam, snorkelled, slept, ate out quite a lot! I can't remember the names of the restaurants we ate at, but you will find great views around the Balcon area. The cafe opposite the icecream parlour has a great terrace for breakfast, (Spanish bread/toast with tomato and garlic). Joanney's, opposite the main entrance was great value for money and provides good food and service; it is very popular and busy with locals a lot of the time; they do a fantastic Prawn Pil Pil! I recommend an early evening cocktail at "Cochrans?", the Irish bar off the main square, on the terrace with beautiful sea views, or a sherry at one of the traditional bars off the square, or next to the newsagent, (delicious tapas).
