There were 11 of us in our group, 6 couples, 2 teenagers and 3 little ones.

We had a great holiday, and this Villa is amazing. The photos do not do justice to the villa. It is very spacious, very clean and very well maintained, it also felt very safe.

We did not hire cars, and used taxis, the local taxi firm were great and would be with us in about 5 or 10 minutes, however if you were a smaller group i would recommend getting a car as surrounding area was loevly to go out to and Moriara was a favourite of ours.

The local beach is short walk, and we had a great night eating Paella and watching the kids on the beach. We took pushchairs, and the last bit of walk up the villa is very steep, its only short and soon over with.

We didnt think much of Calpe, but the beach was OK. We also went to the water park at Benidorm which was expensive very busy and would not recommend going there, we thought we should of spent the day by the pool instead doing our diving competitions!!

The villa has a great huge outdoor barbeque area which we used, and the pool has lights at night which the kids loved. The pool also gets the sun all day.

The air conditioning is enough as long as you keep all the doors and windows shut.

The welcome pack of food on arrival is great, Thank you very much!!, And Gill and her husband are great at showing you round, and then quickly leaving you to get on with your holiday. There are lots of inflatables and kids balls etc to keep kids amused - There is a super folder with all the information on areas, phone numbers maps etc.

I would definitley recommend this Villa for groups or large families. We had a super holiday all of us - Thank you.

Just had a two week stay in this villa and it was great.It is perfect for large families or groups as there is so much space and a lovely sea view!!! It is well equipped and very clean but it is the outside which makes this villa shine!! A fantastic pool with diving board and outside kitchen with fridge bbq etc really does make this an excellent outdoor space and a full size floodlit tennis court was great for both the kids and adults.Booking this villa with Gill was not only simple but a pleasure as it was so smooth and nothing is too much trouble right down to recommendations for local restaurants!!Altogether a great holiday had by all and will be coming back again,top villa and top service from Gill and Tony.!!!

Wow ! What a great property, this property has it all. Fantastic pool, great outside area to barbecue and socialise. Tennis court to work of the excesses as you enjoy the Sun and local beer. This property is about a 10 minute slow walk to the beach and two great bars. Calpe near by has everything. The supermarket is on the way to the beach and has more than enough to keep you going. The villa has all the amenities you need and absolutely loads of space. Dave and Maureen are a font of local knowledge and will steer you in the right direction to were you want to be. This property is the perfect location and I would recommend to everyone . Loads of beaches near by and less than an hour from Alicante airport.

We stayed at Villa Muñeca for a week in June 2011 and could not have been happier with the facilities. The house and grounds were extremely clean and well kept. They even came back halfway through our stay to freshen up the house and clean so that everything stayed nice and we did not have to worry. With three kids in the group, there was always something to do - either playing tennis, darts, or swimming in the pool and jumping off of the diving board. The pictures do not do the pool area justice as there is a fantastic outdoor kitchen area that we used for cooking lunch and dinners when we didnt feel like going out. Since this is in a resort area, there were a lot of very good restaurants in Calpe that we drove too as well as one within 10min walking distance towards the beach that we enjoyed very much. The beach down the road itself was fairly small and very crowded on the weekends but almost empty on the weekdays. The grocery store was also extremely close and had everything we needed for the weeks stay. The villa has a book containing maps, recommendations and lists of local restaurants, phone numbers, grocery stores and beachs that was extremely handy as well.

All in all, the week that we spent in the Villa was the highlight of our Spain vacation as we loved staying there.

Everything about the villa was fantastic. It really is alot more spacious and luxurious than it looks in the pictures. The fittings and furnishings are absolutely top of the range and the place was spotlessly clean. The sea views from the swimming pool terrace were fantastic, the pool was great and the outside Kitchen & Barbecue an added bonus. There is plenty of shade and the swimming pool gets the sun for the whole day. The air conditioning was more than adequate to keep the whole house cool (even in July!). The villa spans a huge area which is great for large groups, meaning everyone can get their own space when needed. The welcome pack when we arrived conatined bread, Milk, tea, coffee and beer along with a selectionof other goodies which was just what we needed when we arrived and there was plenty of information provided in the villa about the local area.

The location is excellent for the beach and few nearby bars/restaurants only a short walk. The local taxi companies spoke English and picked us up straight from the villa, always arriving within a few minutes. The local supermarket is a couple of minutes down the hill or there's larger supermarkets in Calpe which is very easy to get to by car or a few Euro's in a taxi.

You can also walk to Calpe along the coastal path in under 40 minutes though there are alot of steps so not suitable for pushchairs.

The booking process was simple and Gill ensured everything went smoothly from start to finish, a much more pleasant and efficient service than when we've booked with larger tour operators in the past. I would highly recommend this Villa and any of Gill's other villas, I really can't praise them highly enough!
