Perfect for our family of six!

This apartment worked out very well for our family of six, including 4 pre-teens/teens. Although it was a bit of a walk to some attractions, we are all healthy and didn't mind touring the area on foot. There was so much to see along the way. The plus of being removed from the center of town is that it was completely quiet at night, and the sleeping in the very comfy beds was great! We would highly recommend this apartment. Price was very reasonable, too.

Nouvel an très agréable dans le palazio de Guido

Nous avons séjourné dans l'appartement de Guido pour le nouvel an 2013.
L'appartement est très bien situé à moins de dix minutes à pied de tous les monuments et du centre ville historique. Dans un immeuble d'époque magnifique.
Les salles de bain sont très propres et l'appartement semble avoir été rénové très récemment. La literie est de très bonne qualité et l'appartement est très calme.
Nous étions 8 personnes et l'appartement étais bien dimensionné avec trois chambres et un large canapé convertible dans le salon.
Guido (le propriétaire) vit au dessus de l'appartement (en cas de soucis) et est très serviable et sympathique.
A recommander.

Perfect location and accommodation

We loved our stay in the Florence apartment. There are wonderful restaurants and cafes within a block and all the museums and sights are within a 15 minute walk or less. There are grocery stores nearby for cooking. The wi-fi is fast and reliable. Most of all we loved the quietness of the apartment. We slept very well after hours of walking...and eating. Guido the owner lives next door and is available for information or to address any concerns.

Great apartment for larger group

We had a group of 7 adults traveling together, and picked this apartment. It was close to all of the major sites and in a nice neighborhood. There is a grocery store several blocks away to get fruit and breakfast items. The living space was large enough for this group to sit and review the days adventures. We enjoyed our time and want to thank Guido for his prompt reply to our email question about taxi service to the train station. Some of our group did walk to the train station when we departed Florence. It is about a half hour walk.

fabulous spacious apartment for family

This magnificent apartment was clean, spacious, air conditioned and well located. We enjoyed being in a Florentine neighbourhood and being within walking distance to many of the city's highlights. It was perfect for our family of 6 (2 adults and 4 teens).

Family vacation to Italy

Florence was our third stop on a four city European vacation. It was also our longest stop and made perfectly comfortable by our choice of apartment. Guido, the owner was extremely helpful from the time I made the reservation to the end of our stay. The apartment was an easy 10 minute cab ride from the train station and we were met promptly, as previously arranged, by Guido. At check-in, he astutely advised us of restaurants in the area, a local market, and places to avoid. His local knowledge was invaluable to our trip. The apartment was just as we expected from the description with air conditioning in all the bedrooms and a washing machine in the fully applianced kitchen. We ate breakfast every morning in the apartment and also had plenty of space so that our family of four could have some privacy when we wanted it. We only used a cab twice (on our arrival and departure dates) as the city is easily negoatiable on foot. We also took day trips to many areas in the Tuscany region, using both the train and bus system. This apartment was located far enough away from the hustle and bustle of central Florence, but close enough to all major attractions and the bus and train stations. We can not wait to return!

We had a great time staying in this apartment in Florence last week. It was clean and well stocked...a perfect starting point for exploring the city. Guido was helpful with reccomendations and quick to reply to emails with questions. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Wonderful apartment and location

Guido was extraordinarily helpful getting our family settled, suggesting restaurants and sites and answering all of our questions. It was nice to be in A quiet neighborhood but only a few minutes walk from the busy city of Florence. Lots of room for kids and adults to relax and enjoy some quiet time before bed. Guido's brother had a nice garden parking space for our friends who joined us for our stay. Wifi was a blessing so we could keep on top of emails and download photos.
We definitely recommend.

We couldn't have picked a more perfect home base for our week in Florence. The apartment was close to all the major attractions. It was very clean and the beds were especially comfortable. Guido was extremely helpful and very responsive to any questions we had. Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay - we would highly recommend this apartment to anyone.

Location excellent. We walked everywhere with no difficulty. Lots of good restaurants close by. We all loved Baldovino for lunch and ate there on three separate occasions.
Large, well supplied kitchen. Large master bedroom. The two bathrooms were very small, but immaculately clean. The 60 steps were not a problem for our family of six, ages ranging from 7 to 78.
Guido was most helpful in arranging a taxi for the morning of our early morning departure, as we were unable to get service on our cell phone.
