  FLORIDA SALES TAX - We are legally required to pay Florida sales tax, which is charged in addition, at a rate of 7% of the rental price. Some properties available on-line do not charge this tax. That means the owner is not legally registered to offer short term rentals in Florida and it may also be the case that short term rentals are not allowed in their building.
