Excellent Villa

A lovely spacious villa (approx 2000 sq. ft.) which was very clean and well presented in terms of quality funishings. It was also very well equipped with thoughful extras such as a picnic bag and a pay as you go mobile telephone. Away from the main hussle and bussle of Barbados in a sparsely populated and quiet residential area, it is a fantastic get away from it all villa but still within driving distance of many lovely restaurants and hotels such as The Crane. Lovely wildlife in the adjacent small woodland in the form of Green Monkeys...they kept us very well entertained on a daily basis! Lovely sea views from the viewing deck on the first floor and suprisingly the hammocks are very comfortable. The sea breeze was most welcoming as was the rear terrace...excellent for entertaining and an end of the day rum! We are very regular visitors to Barbados and this is one of the best villas we have rented so far. We will most certainly book this villa again.

best holiday ever

Our four generation family had one of our nicest ever holidays at Lazybones. The villa is very spacious, spotlessly clean and everything was in good working order. We found we wanted for nothing, the villa had everything we needed for our 11 month old granddaughter to our 88 year old Mother. The icing on the cake being the pool, excellent! The location is very peaceful and relaxing and you are only a few minutes drive from beautiful beaches, scenery, shops,restaurants and the many attractions Barbados has to offer. We appreciated the warm and friendly communication that Fiona, the owner, provided before we flew out. She made us feel very special. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for her. Fiona and Steve have provided a very comprehensive information package to help make your holiday as pleasant and memorable as is possible. We have no hesitation in recommending Lazybones as an ideal holiday destination.

Wonderful Villa in Stunning Location

Truly stunning villa in scenic location on the East Coast. The villa was much bigger than we expected, spotlessly clean and fully equipped for a great holiday, even including children's toys and DVDs. Eric next door was a great host, taking us to a local cafe and rum shop where we learnt how to play dominoes with the local residents! Love the location away from the tourist areas but with a wonderful view of the sea and a constant breeze to keep cool. The monkeys passing the villa twice a day provide great entertainment too! With a car we had a great time exploring the island. The highlight of the trip was the great Gospel Breakfast at The Crane Resort which is only a 20 minute drive away. Also went to one of the beautiful west coast beaches and drove to Bathsheba along the east coast. Eric also took us to the Oistins Fish Fry on friday night which is an absolute must. Loved Barbados and your villa so much that we have booked to stay again this year!

What a fabulous holiday

We all had a wonderful time on our holiday. The villa was spotless when we arrived & soooo much bigger than we thought it would be. It had all the equipment we needed for our stay & much better than other self catering places we have stayed in. Location was great for us as we were away from the crowds & big hotels & it was very peaceful. I loved the American washing machine & the fridge, they had more than enough space & I want one for my house back home. Eric was a great host & took us to some of the local places that we would never have thought of going, I particularly liked the local bar, which was in someone’s back yard. It was great meeting local people, they were extremely friendly & taught us how to play Bajan dominoes & I have now grown to like rum!!!

The monkeys were such a treat for us & the kids of course. We got up early to watch them go out for the day & it was great sitting on the patio at the end of the day with a glass of wine & watch them wander home. We were surprised by the constant breeze, but it turned out to be perfect as I don’t think we could have stayed out in the sun too long without it. The pool was ideal for the kids & they had to be dragged out of there everyday. The hammocks were a great idea, I could escape there with my ipod & book & just watch the world go by.

There was lots to do locally, we took a walk to Skeetes Bay & loved the rugged coastline, then drove to Bottom Bay & found paradise, what a beautiful beach it was postcard picture. We treated ourselves to breakfast at the Crane, the views were breath taking & the gospel singers were an extra treat. One of our stops was at the Sunbury Plantation, it was a beautiful site with lots of beautiful grounds and the house has a lot of interesting history, it was definitely worth a visit. There was just so much to do & see that we could not fit everything into our trip. What a fabulous place, we cannot wait to go back & hope your villa will be free when we do.
