We had a great time in Casa La Cartita, which has everything you need to ensure a pleasant stay. Possibly its best asset is the very friendly and helpful owner, Moises, who was always available to give advice on places to eat, things to see and do, as well as alerting us to special local events. He brought us avocados and oranges from his plots and various samples of local food and drink that you wouldn't normally find in the shops. Such care and attention really made us feel quickly drawn into the local community. Casa La Cartita is great for anyone who loves nature, scenery, the outdoors, peace and quiet and simple natural living. It provides all the comforts of home and easy access to the best walking on La Palma. Within easy reach are great swimming beaches and town amenities. It's the perfect centre for exploring this unusual and spectacular volcanic island in the Atlantic that is politically still part of Europe. We'd certainly recommend it to all like-minded travellers (and by the way, the WiFi internet connection works a treat!).

In this time, I learnt from you some of the many things that are posible to do here in winter , like using the island for "winter training", or a sunny place for a online job.
