We have stayed at the Mondriaan several times. We feel like we are coming home when we visit. We love the quiet neighborhood location in the Jordaan.
The apartment is modern with a TV, VCR, Ipod hook up and movies available at your request. Internet is available with good speed.
The windows in the living room provide a wonderful view of the canal and all of its activities.
The kitchen is modern with amenities that make it is easy to prepare a meal & stay home. A dishwasher, washer & dryer are all nice perks. The bathroom is modern. The bedding and toweling are plentiful.
The proximity to markets, street markets (including the IVM), the Anne Frank Huis, Central Station and restaurants make it a great location. Sara’s Pancake on Raadhuisstraat is great for a meal at any time of day. The Dam Squre, Spui Street and really any attraction you’d like to visit are all within walking distance. There are tram and bus stops a few steps from the front door.
Several generous meals can be prepared with the food waiting for you upon arrival.
Our gracious hosts are always available to give us advice or offer suggestions on places to visit.
For us, this is truly a home away from home.
